You are embarking on the counseling career path you have been studying so hard for. With your LPCI well-deserved in hand, picking a supervisor is an important step towards obtaining you license. What are you looking for in a supervisor? What are you looking for in the experience?


I offer individual and group supervision for a select number of interns. This is a time to demonstrate to yourself your potential for success. Supervision acts as a bridge between academic learning and practical application. The supervision practice is evaluative and goal-driven. As your supervisor, I will be active in helping you to meet your goals. I put a focus on ethical and legal considerations, and increase your effectiveness in working with clients. While gaining new skills and knowledge, we address any and all of your concerns, problematic thoughts, and feelings.

What to Expect

We will talk about a variety methods, forms, and techniques to be used in counseling. You will be able to apply the ones you discover in your counseling intern opportunities. As an intern, you will develop increasing awareness of your own experience when working with clients. My priority is to the clients’ needs and your needs to work with them. In the end of supervision, you will be able to successfully pull it all together for a rewarding counseling profession.
